The Ardal began as a sketch of a chair you could read in for three hours without shifting. The seat is deep, the back gently sprung, and the arms sit low enough to drape over. Upholstered in a dense cotton velvet that keeps its nap, over a frame of kiln-dried ash cut in our Jutland workshop.
